Carte des itinéraires - Via souterrata
Set off for 1 hour to 1 hour and half to explore a secure cave 300m to 500m long, depending on the route. Following the lifeline, you will progress through steps, small steps, and cross a monkey bridge and footbridge.
An exceptional and sporty experience in a karstic environment awaits you for a quest for adventure and sensations!
Clinging to a lifeline from start to finish, the progression is done in total safety, while respecting the natural environment.
To get to the underground via, you have to park in Superdévoluy on the large car park at the entrance to the resort.
From there, a beacon is offered to guide you to the entrance of the cave (about 20 minutes on foot).
The via souterrata is rated "Quite Difficult +" for the Chatière route and "Difficult" for the Cathedral route. Because of the underground environment, it is recommended to have a speleologist guide for a first discovery.
Regular via ferrata, climbing or caving enthusiasts will be able to go underground in perfect autonomy!
Minimum height: 1.40 m
A karst trail awaits you along the path leading to the entrance of the chasm. The underground heritage of the Dévoluy will no longer hold any secrets for you!
Don't forget your via ferrata equipment and headlamps. Rental equipment available in your rental shops.
